Just like mankind has the ability to obey Allah, they also have the ability to disobey him. The successful person is he who accepts Islam wholeheartedly and lives his life according to the shariah. The unsuccessful person is he who rejects Islam or despite accepting Islam turns his life away from it.

Part 9 Truth and Truthfulness

Truthfulness is one of the qualities Allah (swt) commanded mankind to adopt. All the prophets (pbut), Nabi (as) and the pious were truthful. All humans whether Muslims or non-Muslims, rich or poor, whichever background they come from agree on its importance. The basis for maintaining peace in society is holding firm to the truth, for this reason the Qur’an and Sunnah repeatedly emphasise the importance of speaking the truth.

Part 8 Forgiving others and overlooking their faults.

From the qualities of Allah (swt), is the quality of ‘afw’. This means to not only forgive the sinner but to overlook his faults too, to treat the person with kindness despite their mistakes. This was also the quality of all the prophets (as) including our Messenger (as), who was a clear example of ‘afw’.

Part 7 Forbearance (Hilm) and Tolerance

Allah (Swt) is patient and loves those of his slaves who are patient. Many prophets and pious people were praised in the Qur’an for their patience. The meaning of hilm is to be forbearing and have a soft approach. In shariat it means to control your anger in difficult circumstances, despite having the ability to take revenge: a person controls his anger. The correct understanding of hilm is to be soft in one’s approach, humble and to forgive.

Part 6 Reconciliation

Reconciliation is from those good deeds which Allah (swt) loves. Islam is the only religion which gives guidance on every matter of a person’s life. The benefit of which is not only limited to this dunya but a means of attaining success in the hereafter. Everyone has a different personality/temperament, which is why when we deal with others we at times carry out something against the person’s temperament leading to misunderstandings.
